 8. What is a shared whiteboard?
A whiteboard is a white rectangular area on a computer screen, on which we can write or draw using a digital pencil. A digital writing pad - a tablet with the size of a mouse pad, and a digital pencil - a mouse which looks like a pen, are used to simulate the experience of writing with a pencil.
 9. How many hours of tutoring are recommended per month?
In general, two hours of one-on-one tutoring is recommended per week. However, if a child's academic advisor finds that extra hours are needed, the child will be advised accordingly to take additional lessons.
 10. "But I don't think my son/daughter etc would maintain concentration"
There's no difference between online and face-to-face in this respect. The tutor is still present and 'live' and is fully aware of a student not participating. The main advantage is that the tutor can pull the plug on the lesson early if deemed appropriate whereas in a face-to-face session the tutor will expect payment for the full, booked lesson regardless of whether it was terminated early or not. An experienced tutor should be just as capable of keeping control over the 'net as they would in person.
